In the Upper Cumberland region, the Workforce Development and Education team of the Highlands Economic Partnership has provided key ingredients for the success of this program and the leadership, game plan, and highly skilled team to foster its continued growth in our area.

In June, 2012, Tennessee was selected to join a multi-state consortium, the Pathways to Prosperity Network whose mission aimed to address the "skills gap" that threatens the preparedness of young Americans entering the workforce. Entrance into this consortium led to the founding of Pathways Tennessee.


The Missions of Pathways Tennessee is to provide Tennessee students rigorous academic and career pathways linked to economic and labor market needs and trends.
